日本内阁府8月15日公布的4~6月国内生产总值(GDP)速报显示,按实际年化计算,日本第二季度国内生产总值达到 560.7 万亿日元,创造了历史新高。
这一数字超过了疫情前的峰值557.4 万亿日元(2019年7~9月)。
随着日元在近期持续贬值,日本财务大臣铃木俊一今天表示,正在高度关注外汇市场,汇率反映经济基本面很重要,不希望看到汇率波动过大。他还表示,在干预市场方面,当局并未以绝对汇率水平为目标。
众所周知,GDP的组成有几个要素,一个常用的公式如下:
GDP=消费+投资+政府支出+出口-进口
消费、投资(企业投资+政府支出)和出口,常被定义为拉动经济的“三驾马车”,在GDP公式里都是正向指标,与此相对,进口是负向指标。
出口明显增长推高整体水平
同时,不乏还有在今年6月份日本出现了2021年7月以来首次贸易顺差的影响。
据统计,6月份日本的出口额为8.744万亿日元,同比增长1.5%,约合629亿美元,相当于我国6月份出口规模的22%。这也是日本连续28个月实现商品出口增长。
相反的,进口额则继续保持两位数降幅,同比下降了12.9%。
正因这一升一跌,尤其是进口额的暴跌,造成了日本6月份实现贸易顺差——430亿日元,也为日本的原本的进出口“困境”扭转了局面。
住宅投资增长,迎来日本楼市上升期
同时,代表着资产效应的住宅投资也同比增长1.9%,为连续第三个季度正增长。
根据日本不动产经济研究所7月20日公布,2023年1月至6月东京23区新建公寓均价为1.2962亿日元,比去年同期上涨约60%,首次突破了1亿日元,达到了1973年开始调查以来的最高水平。
今年上半年以来,东京23区新建公寓均价超过1亿日元的高价房产陆续出现,主要集中在东京都心5区。
其中,伴随着东京港区、新宿区的高端塔楼公寓以及千代田区等豪宅项目被相继售出,进而侧面拉高了新建公寓的整体均价。
虽然价格持续高涨,但也没打击到各路买家的购房热情,契约率反而跟着同步上升。
上半年日本首都圈代表消费者购买意愿的签约率为72.7%,较去年同期上涨0.6个百分点,已连续3年超过七成的水平。
从目前日本的购房群体来看,在低利率的影响下,以富裕阶层为中心的需求依然强劲。
由此可见,越来越多的日本人对手中握有的现金开始做出打算,不论是自住还是“由储蓄转为投资”,如今呈现共识性上涨的日本楼市,也逐渐在被全球投资市场中认为是“确定性通道”。
那么,日本的第二季度的GDP增长率为何会出现如此高的增幅?
第一大原因,是日元贬值导致出口大幅增加。
日元的汇率从2022年开始持续下降,2023年至今,日元对美元的汇率又下降了10%,8月15日,是1美元兑换145日元。
日元的大幅贬值,对于世界各国的消费者来说,日本商品可以用比以往更便宜的价格买到,因此,使得日本的出口出现大幅增加,第二季度增加了3.2%。
丰田、本田、日产等日本主要的汽车制造企业,在过去几个月中,汽车出口大量增加,使得公司利益也获得大幅增加。
企业利益的增加,有利于扩大投资,增加雇用。而对于政府来说,则可以增加税收。2022年,日本政府的财税收入达到了72万亿日元。经济学家们预测,2023年度,预计可以达到76万亿日元。
第二大原因,是因为海外游客的增加。
从4月末开始,日本全面开放海外游客入境,来自欧美和东南亚地区的游客纷纷涌入日本,到6月时,海外游客总量已经恢复到疫情之前的70%以上。
由于东南亚地区国家的游客消费力旺盛,因此,也刺激了日本的消费市场。尤其是酒店的价格比疫情前高升了80%以上。同时,百货店的营业额也出现了回升。在日本的GDP的构成中,个人消费一直占到50%以上。
针对第二季度GDP增长率的大幅增加问题,日本政府头脑还是比较冷静。经济财政大臣后藤茂之发表谈话说,今后会继续保持雇用和收入双增加的趋势,企业扩大设备投资的欲望也很强烈,经济继续恢复依然可以期待。
但是,日元贬值导致原材料进口价格的上升,国内商品的物价也持续高涨,同时,海外市场的经济景气也在出现下滑,未来可能会影响日本的出口,所以,必须关注这些负面材料的出现。
日本日生基础研究所经济调查部长斋藤太郎认为,经济整体出现了超越疫情之前状态的趋势,但是,国内消费还没有恢复到疫情之前的水平,内需市场依然疲软。现在重要的是要关注日本银行的新金融政策动向,如果实施金融紧缩政策,那么,今后的GDP增长率会有所减缓。
